Lead Pricing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Extract, check, monitor and analyse data to identify performance trends and opportunities.
• Drive performance, impact change and contribute to wider business objectives.
• Coach, mentor and train team members to strengthen technical capability and independent work.

About you

• Recent experience as a pricing professional in a UK general insurance environment.
• Hands-on SQL experience and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
• Experience in data extraction, cleansing and validation, with a strong appreciation of data quality and governance.
• Experience using pricing and modelling tools such as Emblem and Radar; exposure to loss cost and other statistical or predictive modelling techniques.
• R, RStudio or Python experience is advantageous.
• Able to communicate complex analysis and technical concepts clearly to different stakeholders.
• Curious, proactive and resilient; able to take ownership, shape solutions and support colleagues.

Working arrangement

• Hybrid working: 80% of time from home and 20% at the head office.
