China State Construction Middle East (CSCEC ME) is recruiting a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team at the Company Head Office in Dubai.
Position Summary
Position requires thorough knowledge of HVAC and engineering techniques, In-charge for overseeing all Mechanical works Complete responsibility to decide on day-to-day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning task to groups or individuals, accuracy of work conducted, and dealing with operational issues and problems.
Responsibilities
- Study and review the Tender drawings / specification and raise RFI, if required.
- Responsible for the leadership and support of the team
- Ensure Quality of Engineering in discipline and compliance with the appropriate project process
- Ensure the preparation and review of design solutions, which fully comply with all applicable design / Client requirements, with Design Standards, Codes of Practice and good engineering principles to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
- Maintain effective working relationships with other authorities/disciplines
- Provide technical support for the Procurement Department, and assist for the offers received from suppliers
- Liaise with local authorities for the approval of Mechanical service drawings & inspections
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ Years' of relevant work experience in Construction projects
