Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Lead Mechanic to join the Technical and Environmental Services Group at the Maintenance Field Office located at the Dorsey Run Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Estimated Pay Range
- $63,816.48 - $87,753.12

Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from high school diploma or possession of a GED equivalency certificate plus seven (7) years of experience performing installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Note: Formal training from an accredited vocational school with a major in a related field of study may be substituted for experience on a year-for-year basis for up to three (3) years of the required experience.
- Applicants must have the ability to obtain a Homeland Security Clearance. The position will require the ability to perform confined space entry and lift 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
- This position will be open until filled.
- Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, to include full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and position appropriate physical.
