Lead Learning Experience Designer - Europe, APAC, Middle East (30 hours/week)

Role overview

Program ownership and design

• Own client-facing design from discovery and requirements gathering through outcomes, timelines, scope, resourcing, development, and quality.
• Develop instructor-led materials including slides, labs, case studies, simulations, assessments, facilitator guides, workbooks, and workplace exercises.
• Design applied learning pathways and activities using relevant workplace and AI tools, with attention to accessibility, adult learning, and responsible technology use.
• Manage development resources, contributors, timelines, deliverables, standards, and quality processes.

Delivery and productization

• Create instructor enablement materials and guide instructors in interactive, applied delivery; tailor programs for varied client audiences.
• Collect and analyze learning impact data to refine content and improve learner outcomes.
• Coordinate translation and localization partners where applicable.
• Work with product and learning systems teams to create reusable learning components and identify opportunities to improve GA’s learning portfolio.

Qualifications

• At least five years in instructional design, learning experience design, curriculum design, or a related field, with significant instructor-led training content experience.
• Demonstrated learning design experience for enterprise, professional, technical, or workplace audiences and practical outcome-driven materials.
• Experience managing stakeholders, subject matter experts, instructors, vendors, or cross-functional partners through content development.
• Knowledge of instructional design methods, adult learning, and ability to design for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools and experience designing learning related to AI, emerging technology, data, digital transformation, technical skills, or workplace technology adoption.
• Knowledge of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, machine learning, AI agents, ethical AI, responsible use, and enterprise AI adoption.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms, content management systems, and authoring tools; willingness to flex meeting times across global time zones.

Preferred skills and experience

• Technical proficiency in AI, data science, or coding, including Python, APIs, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub, technical collaboration tools, AI training labs, coding exercises, cloud labs, or sandbox environments is a plus.
• Experience integrating AI personalization or adaptive learning, and designing enterprise AI adoption or technical academy programs, is a plus.
• Experience with tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, NotebookLM, and Midjourney is a plus.

Contract and pay

• Flexible contractor position for a two- or three-month term, with an expected 30 hours per week when assigned to a project.
• Hourly pay ranges by candidate region: US $45–$55; Europe €23–€35; South Asia US $15–$25; APAC US $20–$38.

Workplace and location eligibility

• The position is 100% remote.
• Approved operating countries include the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore; operating availability may vary within the United States and Canada.
