Lead Hand – Landscape Construction

Responsibilities

• Plan timetable for projects in conjunction with the Foreman
• Blueprint reading and measuring/layout of construction projects
• Use of large and small construction equipment applicable to the landscape construction industry
• Responsible for day-to-day activities of crew members
• Provide training to crew members
• Provides leadership to teams
• Hardscape and softscape experience required
• Interact with clients on site when needed, provide exceptional customer service in a polite and courteous manner
• Oversees the quality of workmanship on site
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A valid G Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape construction
• Experience in comparable leadership role
• Desire to work in the horticultural/landscape construction industry
• Knowledge of plant material and equipment is required
• Experience driving truck and trailer
