Role Overview

Essential Job Functions

• Commission, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems using advanced Direct Digital Control technology.
• Serve as the local contact for technical issues and provide solutions to complex system problems.
• Provide turnkey delivery for medium and large projects.
• Ensure controls, sensors, and software operate properly.
• Load software and configure trends, alarms, and reports.
• Lead training for less experienced Field Engineers.
• Communicate and document project status and details for customers.
• Provide site-specific training to owners and operators on the complete system.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least four years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related field.
• Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment more than 8 feet above grade.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Valid and current driver's license with eligibility for company insurance coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree, associate degree, or technical or business school certificate or diploma in HVAC, controls, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with advanced building automation software such as WebCTRL is preferred.
• Experience installing and integrating a variety of building automation systems is preferred.
• Expertise with TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology, is preferred.
• Experience handling simultaneous challenges across multiple disciplines is preferred.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications is preferred.

Pay

• The annual salary range is $64,500 to $129,500.
• Short-term cash incentives may be available subject to plan requirements.
