Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Building Services / Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience working on UK/European projects and overall 12 to 15 years of total experience.
- Proven track record in building services design across sectors including High-Rise Buildings, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Healthcare, Industrial, and Refurbishment projects.
- Proven record as an ELV Engineer on multiple complex projects.
- Experienced at:
- Leading MEP coordination
- Working with local authority guidelines and regulatory requirements, including approvals and compliance submissions.
- Technical Skills / Knowledge
- Specific areas of anticipated technical skills include:
- Proven ability to carry out both manual and computer-aided calculations, problem-solving, technical and financial analysis.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering-specific software.
- Strong software capability and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Excellent knowledge of international design standards including BICSI, ANSI, TIA, and other global ELV standards.
- Excellent understanding of statutory regulations, design approvals, and submission requirements across UK and European markets.
- Advanced knowledge of ELV Engineering Principles, BMS, IT, AV, and Security design.
- Sustainable design practices and technologies.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and Public Health engineering principles.
