Role overview

Lead Engineer in Applications Development.

Duties

  • Analyze complex requirements, component interactions, and system interfaces; recommend new or reusable code.
  • Lead or participate in projects, assign tasks, coordinate efforts, and monitor performance.
  • Recommend technologies and methodologies and stay current with emerging technology.
  • Participate in software testing, validation, programming, and documentation.
  • Advise on programming problems and write or review specifications and flow charts.
  • Review test results, document testing and remediation, and promote sound analysis to avoid rework and schedule delays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, any Engineering discipline, or a related field.
  • Five years of development, engineering, or related experience.
  • Required experience includes Java enterprise web applications, microservices, integration patterns, JavaScript, TypeScript, functional programming, and object-oriented Java development.
  • Experience must also include Scrum-oriented Agile methods, Angular or React, Oracle or SQL Server, Spring, IBM MQ and JMS, cloud computing, and Docker or Kubernetes.

Compensation

  • Salary is $157,851 per year; total compensation may also include additional compensation, bonuses, or commissions. Benefits eligibility and offerings may vary by position and employment status.

Workstyle and travel

  • Workstyle is hybrid.
  • Travel is less than 25%.
