Job requirements
- Significant experience in land-based drilling operations, including rotary and geothermal drilling techniques
- Demonstrable experience of drilling boreholes to depths exceeding 200m
- Experience operating and/or supervising drilling plant and associated site equipment
- Ability to interpret drilling plans and basic geological data
- Organised and methodical approach to planning and execution of work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, site-based approach
- Resilient, with the ability to work under operational pressure and in varying site conditions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Valid CSCS card, or ability to obtain one
- Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
- Telehandler licence/ticket
- Willingness to travel to site locations as required
- Ability to work extended shifts and periods away from home, including staying in company-provided accommodation
- Flexibility to meet operational requirements of active drilling projects
