Qualifications

  • Education: Work requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature, which may be obtained with a two-year associate degree, diploma, or equivalent from a college, technical, business, vocational, or correspondence school. Relevant and sufficient work experience may be substituted for a two-year associate degree requirement.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience preparing engineering drawings and constructing projects of moderate complexity and scale.
  • License: Valid Driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of drafting principles, practices, and tools.
  • Knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
  • Extremely meticulous and accurate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to be both creative and analytical.
  • Proficient in computer-assisted design (CAD) and other design, data recording, and analyzation software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to acclimate to project management software or related software.
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation will be based on experience and academic status. This position offers valuable hands-on experience.
