Full-time, on-site Lead Design Manager role based in Al Khobar.
Oversees design delivery for architectural and engineering projects, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and alignment with client requirements and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary design teams and manage design schedules and deliverables.
- Review and approve drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders; guide and mentor junior designers.
- Improve design standards, tools, and methodologies; resolve design challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Qualifications and requirements
- Strong architectural design expertise and knowledge of structural design.
- Proficiency in design software or platforms; examples include AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
- Leadership experience managing design teams, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, and mentoring design professionals.
- Knowledge of KSA building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Project management, organization, time-management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional registration or certification is advantageous.
- Engineering consultancy or architectural contracting experience, ideally in the KSA market.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience and SEC approval are specified.
