Lead Design Engineer / Design Manager in AECOM’s Water team, working from its North and Midlands offices under a flexible hybrid working model.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery of water, wastewater and flood infrastructure projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Oversee work packages from concept to handover, coordinating with internal teams, clients and suppliers.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to gain stakeholder support for solutions and contribute to technical capability and innovation.
- Carry out line management, mentor junior staff and manage their project contributions.
What AECOM is looking for
- Experience managing technical delivery of water and wastewater engineering projects.
- Multidisciplinary knowledge relevant to water and wastewater engineering.
Workplace
- Based in the North and Midlands offices, including Manchester, Leeds, Chesterfield and Birmingham, with flexible hybrid working.
