Role overview

Work arrangement

• Remote role open to candidates residing in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop components, evaluations, and feedback loops that improve AI design and code generation.
• Define system quality and translate design-system decisions into maintainable, high-performing code.
• Build accessibility, responsiveness, and performance into shared systems.
• Set contribution, governance, and deprecation practices; incorporate user feedback and usage data.
• Share AI workflows with design and engineering teams and model company principles.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 8 years in design engineering, design systems, product design, or front-end engineering for web and mobile applications.
• Shipped design-system or component-library work and a portfolio, case studies, or code samples; applications without a portfolio are not considered.
• Strong interaction and visual design judgment; experience with design tokens, theming, and accessibility.
• Regular professional use of AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Figma Make, including attributable shipped work and design-system integration.
• Ability to explain, review, and debug generated code; experience partnering with design, engineering, and product teams on short cycles.

• Design systems, component libraries, AI-assisted design and code generation, accessibility, and front-end engineering.
• System governance, evaluation, feedback loops, quality, performance, and maintainability.
