  • Design, implement, and maintain the security architecture.
  • Develop and oversee enterprise security solutions to protect mission-critical systems and data.
  • Design and implement network boundary protection technologies, including F5 BIG-IP and related security infrastructure.
  • Architect and integrate security monitoring solutions to enhance threat detection and incident response.
  • Develop and implement compliance automation capabilities to support cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program stakeholders to ensure security is integrated throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend architectural improvements to strengthen the security posture.
  • Support security assessments, accreditation activities, and continuous monitoring initiatives.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in cybersecurity engineering and security architecture.
  • Current professional-level cloud security certification, such as: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or
  • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
  • Demonstrated experience with network boundary technologies, including F5 BIG-IP.
  • Active Secret security clearance (minimum required).
  • Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity principles, secure architecture design, and risk management.
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIGs.
  • Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and enterprise security monitoring platforms.
  • Experience automating security and compliance processes using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical solutions to leadership.
