Lead Carpenter / Supervisor
About This Role
The Wooden Carpenter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all carpentry works related to wood installations, furniture, and finishing. The role involves managing a team of carpenters, ensuring quality workmanship, meeting project timelines, and maintaining safety standards on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of carpenters and helpers.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Ensure all wooden works (furniture, cabinetry, doors, panels, etc.) are executed as per design and quality standards.
- Plan work schedules and allocate tasks to team members.
- Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to maintain high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on-site.
- Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and materials.
- Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with company and project HSE policies.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently.
- Prepare daily reports on work progress and manpower.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic communication skills (English; Hindi/Arabic is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
