Your Impact
OpenText is seeking a Lead UI Developer with a strong focus on Angular development.
The role builds and maintains the front end of a large-scale enterprise data security platform with emphasis on experience, performance, and scalability.
The developer collaborates with designers, product managers, and engineers to create efficient, user-friendly interfaces.
Role Responsibilities
- Build high-performance enterprise web applications with reusable components and services.
- Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine user stories and maintain the product backlog.
- Contribute to best practices, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Design for efficiency, scalability, and UX/UI integration, guide junior engineers, evaluate tools, and improve development processes.
What You Need to Succeed
- Six to ten years of professional experience in modern enterprise-grade web application development.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent, with at least five years of Angular and TypeScript expertise.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, NgRx, JavaScript ES6+, and SASS, with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility experience.
- Hands-on RESTful API and asynchronous programming experience.
- Git and testing framework proficiency using tools such as Jest, Jasmine, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with cloud-first, containerized SaaS systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of UX principles and methodologies; full-stack Java and RESTful API experience is a plus.
Compensation
- OpenText offers benefits and compensation programs that may include variable and commission compensation for eligible roles.
- The stated salary range is $118,000 to $168,000, with actual salary varying by education, experience, skills, location, and market factors.
