Role overview
Sort, categorize, and prepare laundry items for washing, drying, and folding in accordance with company standards.
Responsibilities
- Sort items by type, colour, and fabric to support proper processing and prevent damage.
- Inspect for stains, damage, or special care needs and take appropriate action.
- Prepare items for washing or dry cleaning using standard operating procedures.
- Record sorted items and keep laundry organized.
- Monitor and report equipment or process issues.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in a laundry company.
- Experience handling ladies’ and gents’ laundry and understanding tags or labels.
- Work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift and carry laundry items of various weights and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role with in-person work location.
