Overview

Key Responsibilities

• **Laser Procedures:** Perform safe and effective laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation removal, and other non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
• **Skin Analysis:** Conduct detailed skin and hair consultations, analyzing patient skin types (Fitzpatrick scale) to determine appropriate laser settings and treatment plans.
• **Machine Operation:** Expertly handle, calibrate, and maintain laser machines (e.g., Candela, Cynosure, Alma) according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• **Doctor Assistance:** Assist aesthetic doctors during advanced procedures, ensuring smooth operations.
• **Safety Compliance:** Adhere strictly to DOH infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• **Patient Education:** Provide thorough pre- and post-treatment care instructions, including sun protection and skin care routines.
• **Documentation:** Maintain accurate patient treatment records, progress notes, and consent forms in electronic health records (EMR).

Requirements

• **License:** Must possess a valid **DOH (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi)** license or eligibility as a Laser Technician or Registered Nurse.
• **Experience:** Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Laser Technician in a dermatology or aesthetic clinic, preferably in the UAE
• **Education:** Diploma in Nursing or certified Laser Technician course approved by DOH.
• **Skills:** Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and contraindications. Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
• **Candidates:** Female candidates preferred due to the nature of treatments.
