Design and Planning
- Develop and design landscaping plans in collaboration with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Incorporate elements such as plants, trees, walkways, water features, and lighting systems to enhance the overall design and functionality of outdoor spaces
Project Management
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of landscaping projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and resource management
- Coordinate and collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
Team Management
- Lead a team of landscapers, horticulturists, and supporting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in landscape design and project management
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant materials, and soil science
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) is a plus
- Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- A degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred
