Landscape Inspector

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Attend contractor inspection requests and take appropriate action promptly.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and best practices.
• Report work that does not meet approved drawings or specifications to stakeholders.
• Monitor site quality and progress daily; keep activity records and progress photographs.
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and nonconformance reports when required.
• Check coordination between disciplines and provide technical input to resolve site issues.
• Inspect construction work for compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain inspection and completed-work records; assist with measurement when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Required qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture.
• At least seven years of related experience in direct landscape work.
• Good English communication skills.
