Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Landscape Engineer role based in Riyadh.

The Landscape Engineer will plan, design, and oversee the implementation of landscape projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, environmental standards, and client expectations.

Daily responsibilities include developing landscape designs and layouts, selecting appropriate plants and materials suited to local climate conditions, and coordinating irrigation systems to optimize water usage.

The role also involves supervising landscape installation and maintenance teams, monitoring site work for quality and safety, and resolving any technical or logistical issues that arise.

The Landscape Engineer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers, prepare cost estimates and schedules, and provide ongoing technical guidance to support long-term landscape health and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Landscape Design and Landscaping to plan, design, and manage outdoor spaces that are functional, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing.
  • Hands-on skills in Landscape Maintenance and Gardening to oversee planting, pruning, lawn care, and long-term upkeep of gardens and green areas.
  • Practical experience with Irrigation systems, including design, installation, and optimization for efficient water use in local climate conditions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and develop technical drawings, site plans, and specifications; familiarity with relevant design software is an advantage.
  • Strong project coordination skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor/contractor management.
  • Knowledge of local environmental regulations, sustainable landscaping practices, and safety standards.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders and supervise site teams.
