Role Description
Landscape Designer roles based in the GCC - (HQ Abu Dhabi) will support projects from concept through to detailed design, preparing site layouts, hardscape drawings, and 3D visualizations/presentations that align with client requirements and local regulations.
Responsibilities include collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers; developing design concepts and presentations.
The role involves conducting site visits, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and supporting the review of shop drawings to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
The Landscape Designer will also contribute to sustainable design solutions and ensure that all work adheres to safety, environmental, and company guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong landscape design skills, including Landscape Design and Landscape Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into clear visual and technical outputs.
- Experience in Hardscape design, including materials selection, detailing, and integration with overall site planning and circulation.
- Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with visualization tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to interpret design briefs, prepare documentation to a high standard, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in the GCC region and knowledge of local codes, standards, and construction practices are preferred.
