Role overview
Develop, coordinate, and oversee landscape design projects from concept through construction.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
Design and documentation
- Develop concepts, master plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and detailed landscape designs.
- Prepare drawings, details, specifications, schedules, and presentation materials.
- Design softscape, hardscape, irrigation, outdoor lighting, water features, and external works.
- Prepare and review construction and shop drawings; maintain drawing revisions, approvals, and technical correspondence.
- Select planting, paving, street furniture, and other landscape elements; prepare planting schedules and coordinate plant specifications.
Coordination and construction
- Review project requirements, site conditions, client requirements, and design standards; identify conflicts and coordinate solutions.
- Coordinate designs with architecture, civil, structural, MEP, and other disciplines; work with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
- Review material samples and technical submittals and provide recommendations.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, monitor landscape work, and provide technical support during construction.
- Assist with BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation; support timely completion and quality.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant landscape design and project-coordination experience; Qatar experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of landscape architecture, planting, hardscape, and outdoor design.
- Experience preparing detailed landscape drawings and construction documentation; understanding of irrigation and MEP/civil coordination.
Technical and professional skills
- AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3D Max, Photoshop, or other design software is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong design, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Work location
- Work is in person.
Compensation
- Pay starts from QAR 6,000 per month.
