Land Surveyor

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment for landscaping projects.
• Collect data on land features, boundaries, and topography to create accurate maps and reports.
• Prepare survey documents.
• Participate in fieldwork while following safety protocols and best practices.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment and tools to support high-quality data collection.
• Coordinate survey activities with project teams and provide technical support as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in land surveying work; landscaping-company experience preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency using GPS, total stations, and levels; experience with GIS software for data mapping and analysis.
• Proficiency in survey and CAD software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and ability to produce clear drawings and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; must be locally available.
