Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Technician II
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems, including Land Mobile Radio equipment and emergency response.

Overview
Performs installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems.
Will verify services by testing circuits/equipment/alarms & identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Leverage LMR shop operations & management experience from a large-scale LMR shop.
Will respond to emergency calls in the event of a system failure.
Will install, remove, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, & repair telecommunication equipment, to include running/pulling, terminating, and splicing cables; installing routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays.
Apply hands-on experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Motorola & other LMR Equipment
• Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
- Required Technical Skills: Must be qualified to install LMR base stations, repeaters and mobile radios.
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET
- Required Skills and Abilities: Communications consoles Repeaters XTS-5000 and other hand-held radios Trunked and non-trunked LMR systems Key loaders, antennas, multi-couplers, duplexers Test equipment (service monitors/ system analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, power meters, spectrum analyzer Digital recording equipment OTAR keying equipment (Key management facility) Site controllers
