Labourer

Under the supervision of the foreman, the labourer performs various manual tasks to support construction site operations.

The labourer works as part of a structured team on a rotating schedule and contributes to the safe and efficient completion of work.

What does a labourer do?

• Performs various manual tasks required for construction site operations
• Handles, transports, and organizes materials, tools, and equipment
• Assists skilled tradespeople and equipment operators as required
• Performs general site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance
• Uses various hand and power tools
• Works in coordination with the construction site team to carry out tasks according to instructions and applicable health and safety standards

• Relevant construction or industrial experience, an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• General explosives permit, an asset
