Position Summary
- To provide effective instruction and assessment to Industrial Diploma level courses and to maintain HCT laboratories and workshops.
- The scope of work includes lecture delivery, the installation, demonstration, maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment and facilities.
- This is a combined instruction and hands-on role which will have the Instructor deliver lectures and work closely with the Faculty and students in laboratories and workshops.
- In addition to the delivery of instructions and assessments, the Engineering Instructor set up the laboratory in preparation for experiments, and maintain supplies and documentation.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Membership to a relevant internationally recognized professional association is desirable.
- A completed apprenticeship leading to certification in a professional trade would be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Industrial experience, in the relevant engineering field.
