Tricom is a leading manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We are focused on chemicals and ingredients which are targeted towards Specialty Process Industries.
The role based at our facility in Dubai will fulfill the expansion requirements of our R&D and production team especially within the Water Treatment & Oilfield Chemicals division.
This role within a specialty chemicals manufacturing company requires a blend of technical expertise, requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to ensuring the quality and consistency of chemical products through rigorous testing, research, and adherence to quality standards
Job Description
- Perform various chemical analyses, tests, and experiments on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize laboratory equipment and techniques for qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Investigate deviations or irregularities in product quality and collaborate with production teams to address issues.
- Actively compile data and generate comprehensive reports documenting findings and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols in all laboratory procedures and experiments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, and quality assurance to align laboratory activities with company goals.
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and potential issues effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure proper functioning, and perform regular calibration as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Engineering.
- 03-05 years of experience working in a laboratory setting within the specialty chemicals manufacturing industry.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow procedures meticulously, and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory standards applicable to chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience
- Chemical Testing: 1 year (Preferred)
