Lab Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and compounding of fragrance samples according to formulation instructions.
• Accurately weigh and measure raw materials using laboratory balances and equipment.
• Label, package, and organize fragrance samples for internal evaluation and customer submissions.
• Maintain inventory of fragrance raw materials, laboratory consumables, and sample stock.
• Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished samples in accordance with company procedures.
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, and work areas.
• Assist in quality control testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Record laboratory data, test results, and sample information accurately.
• Support the development team with sample preparation.
• Follow laboratory safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies.
• Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and warehouse teams as required.

& Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in a fragrance, flavor, cosmetic, chemical, or manufacturing laboratory is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory practices and chemical handling.
• Familiarity with weighing scales, laboratory instruments, and documentation procedures.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English.
