About This Role
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Backup Engineer with expertise in Veritas NetBackup
(cluster )(on-prem) and Metallic (Commvault SaaS) to manage enterprise large scale
backup environments in Microsoft Azure. The role involves architecture, troubleshooting,
and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer NetBackup and Metallic/commvault environments
- Expert in azure infra .
- Troubleshoot all issues and optimize performance
- Design DR strategies and conduct recovery drills
- Automate tasks using PowerShell/Python
- Ensure backup security and compliance
- Expert in Veritas appliances (flex/access/5340..etc)
Required Skills:
- NetBackup 10.x/11.x
- Commvault / Metallic SaaS.
- Microsoft Azure Backup & Storage
- Linux & Windows Server
- Scripting: PowerShell / Bash / Python
