L2 IT Infrastructure Engineer -Dubai

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for infrastructure, network connectivity, and system issues.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and VLAN environments.
• Manage firewall security and support IPsec VPN and SSL VPN tunneling.
• Work with Fortinet firewalls and Palo Alto enterprise security environments.
• Assist with migration from legacy or on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Support VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization.
• Migrate endpoints and configure and deploy devices with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Troubleshoot server, network, connectivity, and endpoint issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident reports, configuration records, and support procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients; follow security policies, infrastructure standards, and operating procedures.

Required skills and experience

• Relevant experience in IT infrastructure support, networking, and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, and VLAN and experience troubleshooting networks.
• Hands-on Fortinet firewall experience; knowledge of IPsec VPN and SSL VPN tunneling.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewall environments and enterprise network security and access control.
• Experience migrating legacy or on-premises infrastructure to cloud infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and endpoint migration.
• Practical troubleshooting and problem-solving; ability to work independently and coordinate with technical teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Location and work arrangement

• The position is based in Dubai, UAE.
• Work location is in person.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,500–4,500 per month.

Additional candidate conditions

• Candidates must have their own valid UAE visa and be available for immediate joining.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
