Job Overview
We are looking for an L1 Support Engineer with strong Azure knowledge and basic database skills to manage day-to-day operational tasks.
This role focuses on cloud operations, monitoring, incident handling, and executing scripts/playbooks—not traditional desktop or IT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day IT-related customer complaints and operational support tasks.
- Perform scheduled operational activities and routine tasks on cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor infrastructure capacity and system performance on Azure.
- Execute scripts and playbooks based on operational requirements.
- Generate and extract reports from MS SQL and Oracle databases.
- Track, communicate, and escalate technical issues until closure.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operational performance.
Required Skills & Expertise
- **Azure Concepts:** VMs, Storage, Networking
- **ITIL Knowledge:** Incident, Request, and Change management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience with **SQL** (queries, report generation)
- Basic understanding of Oracle DB (added advantage)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to follow SOPs, playbooks, and technical processes
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
