About This Role
L1 Network Engineer (Junior/Associate)
- Experience with Campus networking based on Cisco/HPE devices
- Experience with device labelling, cable management and port matrix
- Experience with network connectivity and diagnosis
- Familiarity with SD-WAN concepts
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Aruba CX devices
- Hands-on experience with switching and stacking of Cisco/Aruba devices
- Solid understanding of L2 Switching (VLANs, 802.1Q , STP, Port Channel)
- Solid understanding of Infra protocols (DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Total Experience: 1-3 years in IT/Network Support
- 1 year hands-on experience with CLI-based switch configuration (Cisco or Aruba).
- Basic experience with structured cabling, rack mounting, and fiber optic handling.
- Experience using monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Aruba Central, or PRTG).
Certifications: (Must have at least one)
- Cisco CCNA or above
- Aruba ACSA (Preferred)
- Silver Peak SPSA (Preferred)
- CompTIA Network+
