SharePoint Administration & Support

  • Administer SharePoint environments (Sites, Site Collections, Lists, Libraries).
  • Manage user permissions, access control, security groups, and role assignments.
  • Support SharePoint Web Parts, pages, workflows, and out-of-the-box features.
  • Investigate and resolve SharePoint issues related to performance, access, or functionality.
  • Monitor SharePoint health, services, and application availability.
  • Handle user requests related to SharePoint configurations and access.
  • .NET Application Support:
  • Provide L1/L2 support for .NET-based web applications.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in production environments.
  • Debug application behavior using logs and tracing tools.
  • Support IIS-hosted applications and services.
  • Identify root causes of application failures and coordinate fixes with development teams.
  • Validate fixes and perform post-deployment checks.
  • Key Focus of the Role:

• Incident Investigation & Debugging

  • SharePoint Administration
  • .NET Application Troubleshooting
  • Data Validation

Incident Management & Troubleshooting

  • Investigate production incidents and service disruptions.
  • Perform detailed log analysis (application logs, IIS logs, system logs).
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
  • Escalate complex technical issues with clear technical analysis and evidence.
  • Ensure timely resolution based on SLA requirements.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in SharePoint Administration (Sites, Permissions, Web Parts, Lists, Libraries).
  • Experience in supporting .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET, IIS).
  • Strong debugging and log analysis skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server (query execution and data troubleshooting).
  • Understanding of production support environments.
  • Ability to perform tracing and root cause analysis.
