About This Role
Key Responsibilities
Support utility PV and BESS technical activities for KSA-based companies and projects.
Develop technical solutions for medium voltage connected systems.
Support on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid microgrid applications.
Prepare technical proposals, SLDs, compliance sheets, and system architecture.
Review project specifications, tender documents, and grid requirements.
Coordinate with sales, product, EMS, and engineering teams.
Support technical meetings, customer presentations, and technical clarifications.
Optimize system sizing and configuration for technical competitiveness.
Support post-award project activities and product understanding.
Ensure compliance with SEC, SPPC, and utility requirements.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to support commercial strategy.
Degree
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Skills & Requirements
Strong knowledge of Utility PV and BESS systems.
Experience
with medium voltage integration (11kV / 13.8kV / 33kV).
Knowledge of on-grid, off-grid, and microgrid applications.
Ability to prepare technical proposals, SLDs, and compliance documents.
Understanding of MV equipment including PCS, transformers, RMU, and protection systems.
Familiarity with Saudi utility requirements and standards (SEC / SPPC preferred).
Good communication, presentation, and customer support skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with sales, engineering, and product teams.
Strong problem-solving and technical analysis skills.
Fluent in English and native Arabic speaker.
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
Proficiency in Excel and technical reporting tools.
Knowledge of PVsyst and HOMER software is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 6 years of overall experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the PV and/or BESS industry with a focus on utility-scale or large-scale projects.
Previous experience in the KSA or GCC market is preferred.
Experience
with EMS/SCADA systems.
Knowledge of hybrid systems (PV + BESS + Diesel Generator).
Experience
with utility tenders and technical clarifications.
Familiarity with grid codes and interconnection requirements.
Previous experience in the KSA or GCC market.
