Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a KNX Engineer based in Dubai and responsible for UAE projects. The KNX Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, monitoring and managing KNX-based home automation systems. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site evaluations, clearances, meetings, customer service, troubleshooting technical issues, testing installations, and ensuring seamless integration and interfacing of various automation components. Collaboration with internal teams and communication with clients will be essential to deliver customized smart home solutions that meet their specific needs. Reporting to management daily and weekly on progress.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in KNX & Lutron Project Management/Supervision/Coordination.
• Knowledge of DEWA / ADWEA / Fewa and Electric Code & Professional DB Dressing Requirements.
• Experience with MEP coodrination, Handling clients directly, Taking Responsibility & Accountability & Own Decision Making & Following, Specifying and Meeting Project Deadlines.
• Experience with lighting control, HVAC, Dali and integrated Servers, AV & ELV.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to home automation technologies.
• Knowledge of network setups and integration of various IoT devices & IT.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients
• Familiarity with luxury home living standards and tailored solutions for premium properties
• Professional certifications in KNX or similar automation systems are a plus
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field is highly desirable
• Experience in BMS / PLC / Lighting Design will be an add value
• Having UAE Driving License & Own car is a must
