Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Kitchen Technician located in the United Arab Emirates.
The Kitchen Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing kitchen equipment, conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating with vendors for parts and service needs, assisting with installation of new appliances, and maintaining proper documentation of maintenance activities.
The candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and minimizing downtime of critical equipment.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting kitchen equipment.
- Experience in conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge related to kitchen appliances.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining service records and documentation.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to act rapidly in breakdown scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and external vendors.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends or evenings if required.
- Experience in the catering or food service industry is a plus.
- A vocational or technical certification in appliance repair, electrical, or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and local guidelines is advantageous.
