Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to assist in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
The ideal candidate should be energetic, follow instructions carefully, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and cooks in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, etc.
- Keep kitchen areas clean and organized, including counters, floors, and equipment.
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using manual or automated equipment.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and supplies.
- Dispose of waste properly and help maintain sanitation and safety standards.
- Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries.
- Follow food safety guidelines and hygiene practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef or supervisor.
Requirements
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and safety.
- Good physical stamina – able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
