Summary-
As a Kitchen and Laundry Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and servicing all kitchen hot and cold equipment as well as laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and operating in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to uphold the hotel's standards and policies.
Job Responsibilities-
- Maintain and service all kitchen hot and cold equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
- Ensure that all laundry equipment is properly maintained and serviced to avoid malfunctions.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment promptly to meet guest needs and satisfaction.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns swiftly and effectively, adhering to hotel policies and standards.
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner to protect the health and safety of guests and employees and conserve the environment.
- Comply with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures at all times.
Candidate Requirements-
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Kitchen and Laundry Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance and repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot and address equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair laundry machinery
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals and blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
