Role Description
The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and motor skills.
This full-time, on-site role in Dubai involves creating a safe, engaging classroom environment, managing daily routines, and using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
The teacher will observe and assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and regularly communicate with families about student development.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing learning materials, facilitating play-based and inquiry-based activities, supporting positive behavior, and collaborating with colleagues and school leadership.
The Kindergarten Teacher also participates in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities as required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with experience in early childhood or primary school settings.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including designing age-appropriate, engaging, and differentiated activities.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Training and instructional skills to support student learning and development through varied teaching methods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; specialized qualification in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Familiarity with American curriculum frameworks or international school standards is an advantage.
- Ability to create an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom that supports learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a commitment to student well-being and safeguarding.
- Proficiency in using basic educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and communication.
