Qualifications

  • About You
  • Naturally compassionate with a calm and respectful approach
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
  • Comfortable with hands-on tasks and standing for extended periods
  • Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights
  • Confident using computer systems and MS Office
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and values-driven
  • Q Fever vaccination (required)
  • Experience in animal care, healthcare, funerals, veterinary clinics, or similar service-based environments will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate and professional customer service, including handling phone enquiries
  • Prepare pets for viewings and cremations with care and respect
  • Create personalised keepsakes such as clay, ink and digital paw prints, fur clippings, and memorial items
  • Place ashes into urns, wooden boxes and jewellery, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Coordinate engraving and quality control of keepsake products
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry using internal systems
  • Assist with stock control, warehouse duties and deliveries
  • Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and WH&S compliance
  • Support a positive team culture and assist with onboarding new team members
