Role overview

Junior UI/UX Designer Intern supporting a Senior Product Designer on logistics, tracking, and operational platforms.

The work translates complex data, journey tracking, operational reports, and AI assistant modules into clear, scalable interfaces.

The intern will work with senior design and frontend engineering leadership on the transition from mockups to production-ready code.

Responsibilities

  • Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes for web applications and operational dashboards with senior designer support.
  • Maintain and expand the design system and support consistency across application modules.
  • Design modular UI components aligned with modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, Vuetify, and pure CSS.
  • Support design for AI assistants, proactive reporting interfaces, and journey visualization tools.
  • Prepare assets, specifications, and documentation for frontend handoffs.
  • Participate in brainstorming, design reviews, and UX integration planning.

Required qualifications

  • 1–2 years of UI/UX design experience or a strong academic or personal project portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving.
  • High proficiency in Figma and Adobe XD; both are essential.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, typography, color theory, and enterprise or B2B layouts.
  • Attention to pixel-level detail and ability to structure data-heavy interfaces clearly.
  • Communicate design rationale and actively incorporate feedback.

Bonus qualifications

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, Vue.js, or Vuetify is a bonus.
  • Interest or experience in AI-tool and operational UI design is a bonus.
  • Data visualization experience, including chart or graph interfaces, is a bonus.
