Junior Systems Administrator & Cybersecurity
About This Role
We are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator & Cybersecurity professional to join our IT team. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a strong foundation in IT systems, troubleshooting, and basic security practices, who is eager to grow into a more advanced technical position over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support and troubleshooting for users (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices).
- Assist in managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 environment (users, licenses, access, basic configurations).
- Support administration of Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity controls including endpoint protection and access management.
- Support network basics including connectivity issues, user access, and coordination with vendors when required.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and escalate when needed.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset tracking, and system configurations.
- Support IT projects related to infrastructure, security, and system improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and basic cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems, or infrastructure roles
Basic knowledge of:
- Systems administration (Windows environment)
- IT troubleshooting and end-user support
- Networking fundamentals
- Cybersecurity awareness and best practices
