Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Process and verify invoices, freight bills, customs documentation, and vendor payments related to logistics operations
- Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and intercompany transactions
- Assist in month end and year end closing procedures
- Support preparation of financial reports, cost analyses, and budget tracking related to transportation, warehousing, and shipping costs
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, fuel expenses, and fleet related costs
- Assist with VAT filing and ensure compliance with ZATCA regulations
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing required documentation
- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams to verify costs related to shipments, customs clearance, and warehousing
- Maintain organized financial filing systems (digital and physical)
- Assist senior accountants with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (fresh graduates considered)
- Familiarity with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP) is a plus
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Saudi VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation)
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems) is a plus
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and Saudi VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work in a fast paced logistics environment with tight deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of logistics/freight cost structures (freight, customs duties, demurrage, etc.)
- Exposure to ERP systems used in supply chain finance
- Pursuing or holding a professional certification (SOCPA, CMA, or similar) is an advantage
