Junior Restaurant Accountant
About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the organization in maintaining financial health. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage general ledger accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and laws.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform internal audits and support external audits as needed.
- Maintain financial records and files in an organized manner for easy access and review.
- Support the finance team with other ad hoc projects and tasks as required.

- Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
