Job Summary The Junior Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and cost management aspects of civil construction projects. The role involves assisting in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, billing, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Support in project budgeting and cost control
Assist in preparing interim bills and final accounts
Verify contractor bills and subcontractor invoices
Maintain records of project costs, variations, and claims
Assist in tender preparation and analysis
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants
Monitor material usage and cost variations
Ensure compliance with project specifications and contracts
