Junior Project Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Assist the Government Project Lead in generating project charters with sponsors and determining project acquisition strategies.
• Prepare reports for the project sponsor and deliver monthly Project Performance Reports.
• Develop and maintain project spend plans and forecasts; analyze requirements, status, and schedules.
• Receive and process funding documents; create and maintain project funding structures in N-ERP; track and reconcile funding there.
• Prepare project cost estimates and assist in identifying risks.
• Develop project documentation and maintain documentation in SharePoint.

Required qualifications

• Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supporting Navy customers is preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A Secret clearance is listed as preferred.

Workplace

• The position is onsite four days a week during a 2–3 month training period.
• After successful completion of training, telework is permitted two days per week; the schedule may change based on customer requirements.
• The posting describes the work location as hybrid remote in Saint Inigoes Shores, Maryland.

Compensation

• Annual pay is USD 55,000–75,000.
