Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans; identify and prioritize target markets.
- Manage key accounts, prospecting, and lead generation, and build relationships with organizations in law, technology, and media.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, set performance targets, and analyze sales data.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams on integrated offerings that support growth and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated sales and sales-management expertise with a successful strategic-sales-plan track record.
- Account-management skills for growing long-term partner and sponsor relationships.
- Team leadership, coaching, performance management, and inclusive-team-building experience.
- Lead generation, pipeline development, and CRM proficiency.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic and analytical ability, including forecasting, sales metrics, and data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with digital media, publishing, or technology is sought; interest in law, technology, and science fiction is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Able to work remotely, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across time zones and functions.
