Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of an independent asset management company headquartered in Doha. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in financial services and gain exposure to fund operations, investor servicing, operational controls, governance processes, and coordination with key external service providers. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, fund administrators, custodians, banks, and counterparties to support the smooth running of operational processes across the business. Aventicum Capital Management is one of the largest independent asset management companies in Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth operational workflows, supporting internal teams and maintaining high standards across administration and reporting processes Key Responsibilities Support daily operational activities across investment funds and discretionary mandates, including cash monitoring, trade-related operational processes, reconciliations, and coordination with brokers and custodians. Assist in the review of periodic NAV packs and administrator deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness and adherence to reporting timelines. Support the preparation and review of investor reporting, operational reporting, Investment Guideline Monitoring (IGM) reports, service provider review reports, in coordination with internal teams and external service providers. Assist with investor/counterparty onboarding and maintenance processes, including KYC/AML documentation tracking, subscriptions/redemptions, and coordination with compliance requirements. Maintain operational records, KRI trackers, and supporting documentation relating to fund activity, investor servicing, banking matters, and governance processes. Coordinate with external counterparties, including custodians, brokers, fund administrators, auditors, and legal/service providers on operational and documentation matters. Assist with board, executive committee, and governance-related processes, including preparation of supporting materials, action tracking, and document management. Support ongoing operational projects, process improvement initiatives, operational documentation, and implementation of new operational workflows as the platform continues to grow.
