Junior MEP Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution and supervision of MEP works for residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects.
• Support the preparation of MEP shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with senior engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure installations comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Participate in inspections, testing, and commissioning activities of MEP systems.
• Assist in obtaining approvals from Consultants and local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA, DCD, Municipality, DDA, DM Trakhees, DACC, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Maintain project records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Support coordination between MEP, architectural, and structural disciplines to avoid clashes and delays.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and project standards at all times.

Qualifications

• and Skill Sets
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• 2–4 years of MEP experience in the UAE construction sector.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel – IMP.
• Familiarity with MEP drawings, technical specifications, and authority regulations.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Preferred Added Requirements

• UAE Driving License.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or mid-rise building projects.
• Knowledge of authority submission procedures and approval processes.
• Familiarity with project planning and reporting tools.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to perform under pressure.
